What to Know
The show will take place outdoors in the scenic, rural Lively Acres Backyard. Bring a blanket or lawn chair; no coolers allowed. Food and drink are available for purchase, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. The show will go on rain or shine; bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and rain gear; not much shade available.
Plenty of free on-site parking is available.
No dogs allowed in the festival area.
Sugar Mae’s Blues Camp – Friday, August 7, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Campers and locals are invited to mingle around the campfire and enjoy an acoustic blues open mic hosted by historian and musician Captain Dirk. Food & non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Gate at 6:00 p.m., music starts at 7:00 p.m.
Camping Available
Lively Acres has 40 campsites reserved for Backyard Blues attendees, with a two-night minimum. A variety of electrical hookups and tent sites are available (no site-based water or septic this year). Sugar Mae’s Blues camp Friday Night is included FREE for campers, and Saturday event tickets are only $30 for campers. Get your campground ticket when you book your campsite.
